Just added a new digital art image to my site for Christmas. Not very Christmassy but wrapping up for the holidays. Experimenting with moving parts of one image like a leaf onto plain backgrounds like waves.
Last Tues 26th Oct 2021, Andi and Lisa had returned my wall-mounted ceramic disk which I had called ‘Beach I’ to me. I had exhibited this artwork in ‘The First Fathom’, the outdoor exhibition that Andi had curated at Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford.
Sculpture In Context 2021 has ended. The artwork (Tolka River) that I had exhibited in this exhibition had sold. However, I have an artwork that looks very similar to ‘Tolka River’ in my studio if anyone would like to purchase it.
Just uploaded ‘Wavy Lines – Background Template’ onto the page called ‘2D Gallery’. This digital image comprises narrow wavy horizontal stripes created in two shades of blue. I created this image as a background to experiment with placing digital elements over it e.g. a leaf.
I need to tell you that the Mill Cove Gallery has moved from Castletownbere, Co. Cark to 21 Main Street, Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
I am exhibiting a hollow ceramic sphere called Talka River (d: 10 cm / 25 cm) in Sculpture in Context 2021 held in the Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin 9 from 2nd Sept – 15th Oct 2021. The piece of artwork is on display indoors in the gallery so one would need to book a half-hour time slot on Evenbrite to see it in the flesh.
I added more text to my home page about myself, my artwork and inspiration. Also, I’m getting more practice working with categories and adding tags.
